On 1st of July, in the early dawn, we headed of to Penang. Everything seems so dark on the street (lol). My two great men that gladly and awesomely drove us up to there is Matthew and David. We all appreciated that both of you drove us all the way to Penang and come back too. It is tiring and thanks that you guys "risked" for us. We reached there bout 10am in the morning and have a first meal there which is cendol in Penang Road. It taste good, fresh and cheap too! After a while, we had a short time for souvenirs. Things over there is cheap too, and bargainable. Next stop was heading to Mr Arther Yap's House or Mansion. The house were located at Batu Ferringhi. We head all the way their and "Checked In". The house was huge and nice, have a good view of the sea too. We went around the house and was kindly being briefed by Aunty Mei, The wife. We really thank them a lot for the accommodation and great hospitality. After leaving down our bags and have a rest for a while, we head on to Gurney for our movie! We watched transformers 3: Dark of the Moon. I'll give it 7 out of 10, the plot of the movie wasn't as good as the first and the second saga. Some parts were boring, honestly i do think that way, apparently some of us also felt the same and they dozed off a while. After the 2 and a half hours show, we walked to the nearby hawker centre at Gurney Drive! We wanted to look for a better food but we do not have a good signs of direction where to go. We definitely need a person to really guide us as most part of the roads were changed, even i cant remember how to go where and there. After dinner, we went to Strait Quay Mall to have a look. Straits Quay Mall is located next to the sea, the have a port there. Is new and i think there is more to come in the future. We then went back to the house. We had a short card game there and then we got into the pool to have fun. I think we played in the pool for 2 hours. It was midnight already. We got prepared and went to bed.
The following day, we had a little walk around as in there were traffic jams. Our original plan were forced to cancel. Matthew have to get his car fixed as the air condition spoiled. They went on to get fruits after Mcdonald lunch, Eric, drake, crystal and me followed my brother as my brother picked us to buy biscuits. I had a short meeting with my brother though. Matthew got his car fixed and came to get us at the biscuit shop. We then head home from there. We reach Kuala Lumpur bout 1030pm. It was a tiring trip and it is an awesome one too. Hope you guys enjoyed as much as i do. =)
